Meet the designer

Throughout my early education, I always took an interest to the visual arts. Growing up in the flowering city of Victoria B.C., nature has become a repeating inspiration for my work. I have since launched my small brand Monet Marée while completing a fashion design program at Pacific Design Academy, and am now based in Vienna, Austria for the time being.

Living by the ocean has also influenced my branding. As "marée" translates to "tide", I want my work to give the same feeling: serene, flowing, effortless yet complex. Drawn to using unique materials that are soft in texture and shade, I aim to harvest their charm through thoughtful design. I beleive each piece should feel like an invitation to a blissful experience.
