I am a fashion designer currently based in Victoria, BC. Although my visual arts and design background is modest, it gave me a solid foundation in understanding structure, form, color, and composition. These skills directly inform my fashion design work, which began when I first explored garment construction through elective courses. Through growing curiosity, I've developed a design voice rooted in nostalgia, soft romance, and playful sensuality.

My aesthetic leans toward delicate fabrics, light-reflective textures, and colors that suggest sweetness and warmth. I draw from a wide range of interests, and my style continues to evolve as I experiment with mood, material, and storytelling. Since graduating from a one-year intensive fashion design program in July 2025, I am now working to bring my dreamy, emotionally rich designs into the wider world through my personal brand Monet Marée.
